2024 Registration Opens January 16!

Registration for Redwood Magic Family Camp (June 8-12, 2024 at Mendocino Woodlands Camp Two) opens on January 16.

Reg fees are low for our do-it-ourselves retreat, and we have some scholarship assistance. We especially welcome BIPOC, LGBTQ, and young adult families!

We’ll return to Camp Two, the campsite long used by California Witchcamp and Witchlets in the Woods. Expect nicer cabins and a flatter campsite! Not to mention the same redwood forest we have called home since 2013.

Note – our 2024 covid plans are still under discussion, and will be finalized closer to camp.

Our Magical Ancestors – an essay

Luke Hauser’s new essay on alternative history – free download or read online

Who are these people who call themselves Pagans, Witches, and workers of magic? Where did they come from?

Join Luke Hauser for an illustrated, occasionally tongue-in-cheek journey through our magical lineages, from ancient Mesopotamia to Gardner, Valiente, and the Wiccan Revival of modern days.

Think of this as a pleasant excursion, not a treadmill.

Read what calls to you. Skip around as you wish. Feel free to ignore entire sections.
